My Favourite Sound: ``The crunching sound of fall leaves under my feet.``

I established Discover Hearing Ltd in July 2001. With over 25 years of experience, I am honored and proud to serve the residents of St. Albert.

My Sevigny family is one of the first pioneers of St. Albert. My family and I reside in the this beautiful city, with my grandchildren being the sixth generation residents of St. Albert.

My primary objective is to make our clients feel welcomed, relaxed and at ``home``. I do my utmost to educate my clients with compassion, patience and understanding. I know how important it is to maintain communication with family and friends and to stay socially active. I strive to provide the necessary tools, for my clients, to keep connected in every aspect of life.

As we continue to grow through referrals and testimonials from our clients, I look forward to provide an enhanced quality of life for our clientele at Discover Hearing Ltd.

"Growing Hearing Awareness"

Masters in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology

Registered Audiologist

My favourite sound: “Is the powerful rumble of thunder and the crackle of lightning during a heavy rainfall - an auditory experience that mirrors my dedication to the field of Audiology.”

My passion for this field was ignited by a deeply personal experience, witnessing my grandfather's struggle with hearing loss. As his hearing deteriorated, he became increasingly isolated, and the lack of patience and understanding from those around him highlighted the profound impact that hearing loss can have on an individual's life.

Motivated by this experience, I began my studies in Audiology in 2012, committing to 6 years of intensive training. I graduated in 2018 and have been practicing as an Audiologist since then. The most rewarding aspect of my role is seeing the smiles on my patients' faces as they reconnect with the world of sound. Witnessing the shift from isolation and depression to an active, joyful life is what makes my daily work profoundly fulfilling.

In May 2024, I joined Discover Hearing, a locally owned clinic celebrated for its steadfast commitment to compassionate care. My mission is to make a positive impact in my patients' lives by restoring their auditory experiences. I am dedicated to enhancing their quality of life by reconnecting them with the joy of sound, ensuring that every day at work is a meaningful journey toward improving their hearing and enriching their lives.

My Favourite Sound: "My children’s laughter"

My previous work experience has always involved customer service within a financial institution. I enjoy interacting and growing relationships. This experience has given me the knowledge to effectively communicate and the ability to problem solve.

I developed a passion for hearing when my youngest child was born and decided this was the career I wanted. In 2023, I graduated from the Grant MacEwan Hearing Aid Practitioner Program with distinction and was hired by Carmelle soon after. In 2024, I became a Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner and certified as Board Certified Hearing Instrument Sciences. I enjoy testing, fitting, and educating my clients about their best options for better hearing health.

I have a passion for fostering meaningful connections and thrive in customer service. I look forward to creating a positive experience and building lasting client relationships. I’m lucky to work alongside wonderful professionals with various degrees of education and experience which has broadened my understanding and enhanced my skills while having fun!

Before joining Discover Hearing in March 2023, I worked as a pharmacy and educational assistant. I hold a diploma as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, which has helped me develop a deeper understanding of hearing-related issues.
