Favourite Sound: "The crunching sound of fall leaves under my feet."

I established Discover Hearing Ltd in July 2001. With over 25 years of experience, I am honored and proud to serve the residents of St. Albert, along side with my two daughters Danielle and Nicole, and staff.

My Sevigny family is one of the first pioneers of St.Albert. My family and I reside in the this beautiful city, with my grandchildren being the sixth generation residents of St. Albert.

My primary objective is to make our clients feel welcomed, relaxed and at "home". I do my utmost to educate my clients with compassion, patience and understanding. I know how important it is to maintain communication with family and friends and to stay socially active. I strive to provide the necessary tools, for my clients, to keep connected in every aspect of life.

As we continue to grow through referrals and testimonials from our clients, I look forward to provide an enhanced quality of life for our clientele at Discover Hearing Ltd.

Favourite Sound: "The uncontrolled giggles of my grandchildren"

My 2003 graduation from Grant MacEwan Hearing Aid Practitioner program was the beginning of a satisfying, rewarding career. The subsequent achievement of the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences allowed me to gain the recognition of a Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner.

Identifying, counseling and encouraging my clients with hearing loss, is both challenging and gratifying. The ongoing improvement in hearing instrument technology is exciting and makes the experience of wearing hearing aids, rewarding for my clients.

Helen Keller, who was deaf and blind, lived a very successful life despite for her two disabilities. Among the many things that she was famous for saying was, "Deafness is a much worse misfortune (than blindness) for it means that loss of vital stimulus - the sound of the voice brings language, sets thoughts astir and keeps us in the intellectual company of man..." Each day, my goal is to assist my clients with the most important facet of their life - the ability to communicate and interact with family and friends.

I live in Stony Plain so it is easy to look after my clients that live in any care facilities there and in Spruce Grove. Since 2004 I have practiced at Discover Hearing and work with like minded individuals who strive to make our work place a happy place for our clients to enjoy; a place where each one is treated with respect. Whether they have hearing loss or not it seems to be our mission to have each client leave with a smile on their face.

Favourite Sound: "Hearing the birds singing while walking outside"

My husband and I, with our son, reside in St. Albert. We both have many ties to the community of St. Albert, one of them is that I am a fifth generation of the Sevigny family.

Since 2006 I have had the opportunity to work alongside with my Mom, Carmelle, the owner of Discover Hearing. To give back to the community I call my own, gives me a sense of obligation to always provide my clients with superior customer service and the utmost professional advice.

I strive to provide my clientele with a positive, supportive and educational experience. I believe if people are given the proper explanation and guidance they will embrace this new experience with an open mind and have more success with their hearing instruments. I have observed my clients re-connecting with their family and friends, becoming more confident within themselves and overall gaining a higher quality of life with their improved hearing.

I feel so fortunate to have found a career I love. I believe this love and passion is evident in my daily interactions. I am excited to continue to build relationships with my current clientele and I always look forward to meeting new clients.

I graduated from Grant MacEwan University in 2009 from the Hearing Aid Practitioners program and I am Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. To maintain my status as a Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner through the College of Hearing Aid Practitioners of Alberta (CHAPA) I educate myself by attending multiple educational seminars and conferences on a yearly basis.

Favourite Sound: "High heels going "click clack" down the hallway"

In 2013, I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a diploma with honors in the Hearing Aid Practitioners program in 2015, both from MacEwan University. Shortly after graduating, I was board certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and began my career as a Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner. In early 2016, I joined Discover Hearing and have been so grateful to be a part of an amazing team.

I have been interested in the hearing health care field for over 15 years and my desire to become a hearing aid practitioner stems from my own personal experience of having hearing loss for nearly 23 years. Having received such great care over the years, I was inspired and wanted to give back to the community in the same way. Given my hearing loss, I can easily empathize and understand the needs of my clients. I know first-hand the difficulties associated with hearing loss and strive to teach the importance of addressing hearing loss early on.

As I have worn hearing aids for 22 years, I have both witnessed and personally experienced the advancements in hearing aid technology. I always look forward to trying out new technology, taking advantage of what they have to offer, and best of all, sharing the experience with my clients.

Favourite Sounds: "Baby/child laughter"

I have been a part of Discover Hearing since November 2003, when I started as an Administrative Assistant. Since then, I have married and started a family here in St. Albert. After eight years and the birth of my second child, I decided that I wanted to stay home with my girls. Not wanting to leave "my family" at Discover Hearing, I was offered a new role as the Billing Clerk which I have been doing since 2011.

Discover Hearing has been a part of my life for many years and I am truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful, genuine, caring team!
